About the Maritime Museum
Denmark's new Maritime Museum will be an exceptional structure with international ambitions.
The new Maritime Museum will have a unique location surrounding the old dock between the Culture Yard and Kronborg Castle in Elsinore city. The museum will be built down into and along the inside of the 150 meter long dock, the dock is an outdoor space and it will be possible to exhibit large objects and hold various events.
The Maritime Museum is part of the new cultural space in Elsinore. In addition to the museum it also consists of the landscape project Cultural Harbour, Kronborg Castle, Elsinore and the new Cultural Center Culture Yard.
